4-6 and till th Riga.1 about This invention relates to vehicle brakes. The aim of the invention is to optimize brake pressure control. FIG. 1 shows a brake pressure setting device; Fig. 2 is a diagram showing the pedal force and brake pressure adjusted downstream from the brake pressure modulator along the pedal path. The brake pressure setting device contains the pedal 1, which is pivotably mounted on the plate 2. The driver’s leg strength is transmitted through the rod 3 to the steel spring 4. The spring characteristic is linear or slightly progressive. The steel spring 4 rests on a force sensor 5, which is a serial part, the characteristic of which is known and is approximately linear. The steel spring 4 and the force sensor 5 are located inside the housing 6. The electrical input signal of the force sensor 5 is transmitted to an electronic amplifier 7 mounted on the outer side of the housing 6. The electronic amplifier 7 is equipped with a memory unit (not shown) that transforms the input signal from force sensor 5 into a signal with a progressive characteristic. In this memory block, various output values are assigned to specific input values. Any suitable block can be used as a memory block, for example, an Intel EPROM 27128 block. The diagram (Fig. 2) shows the output of the brake pressure master. On the way to the pedal 1 or 55, the angle of the turn created by the driver increases the foot strength approximately linearly. Strength training and various angles the application of force to the legs was neglected here. At the end of the path of the pedal in the rear, the pedal hits an end stop (not shown), for example a rubber shock absorber, as a result of which the leg force in this area rises sharply. Due to the electronic conversion of the characteristics of the force sensor in the electronic unit, the pneumatic brake pressure adjusted in the brake cylinder increases progressively. At the same time, in the largest part of the pedal’s path, an increase in leg strength is less progressive than an increase in brake pressure. The diagram shows only a qualitative move, i.e. scale leg strength and brake pressure are non-identical.
